GL-X3000NR - NO 5G connection for TMO?

Well, I did a little “Googling” and found that there are others who seemed to have had this issue, and it appears to be something to do with the firmware of the MODEM itself, and the need for an upgrade there. I just got me a GL-X-3000 too. But only LTE is working.
If I connect to 5G tower I get the error: "SIM card not registered"
On my iPhone everything works fine.

I still are then only connected with the GL-X3000 to LTE with a slow data speed.

How can I setup the router so it connects to 5G?

My iPhone 14 is receiving way higher speeds.

Is "select all" really the best way to get the fastest and most stable connection? Based on CellMapper, only a few bands provide good coverage in my area. Wouldn't it be better to manually select the bands with the strongest signal instead? Or does the router automatically prioritize the best bands by itself? Additionally, does the router have an intelligent band selection algorithm, or would manually locking certain bands improve performance?
