Maybe do a modem firmware upgrade as

GL-X3000NR - NO 5G connection for TMO?

Well, I did a little “Googling” and found that there are others who seemed to have had this issue, and it appears to be something to do with the firmware of the MODEM itself, and the need for an upgrade there. The solution is a bit technical for some, but it proved to work. As it was not my first rodeo in doing the SSH into a device, I didn’t feel worried about doing this. Hi there,
I just got me a GL-X-3000 too. But only LTE is working.
If I connect to 5G tower I get the error: "SIM card not registered"
On my iPhone everything works fine.

I still are then only connected with the GL-X3000 to LTE with a slow data speed.

How can I setup the router so it connects to 5G?

My iPhone 14 is receiving way higher speeds.
