GL-X750 Firmware 4.X.X is Rubbish

I have the same problem as previously reported with the GL-X750 on firmware

above Version 3.X. All of the Version 4.X.X firmware do not work correctly with

SMS sending/receiving and therefore forwarding SMS to email does NOT work.

The firmware is open source openwrt so what exactly is the problem fixing it???

As GLi are not supporting this product anymore clearly their support is disreputable.

Is there a fix likely for this or do I need to create my own solution via bash scripts?

Are you sure it’s the firmware.

I live in Canada and use Bell they are going to disable receiving email sms in a couple of months, You might want to make sure your carrier allows what you are attempting to do, what worked yesterday but does not work now might be intentional .
