On Previous version of stable firmware, 3.201 version firmware kernel downgraded to 4.14.
3.200 version firmware kernel is 5.4.51.
@alzhao Is this intended or? Could you explain why?

I also noticed that the default wwan device switched from /dev/cdc-wdm0
to /dev/ttyUSB4
, what’s the difference? It seems that the first one is QMI protocol.
I don’t know previous 3.200. 3.201 should all be based on openwrt 19.07.7 and having kernel 4.14
I just downloaded your 3.200 firmware tar file in GL.iNet download center
Obviously, it’s Linux 5.4.51
cdc-wdm0 is used for qmi mode
ttyUSB4 is serial mode
But now you can select qcm mode, which is better.
I found a problem that /dev/ttyUSB4
for mode qcm
and custom APN which was manually input from web UI cannot be saved into /etc/config/network
.
Due to the above reason, I switched back to /dev/cdc-wdm0
and this time, my custom APN and qcm
mode is working and saved into /etc/config/network
.
