Hi all,
is it normal, that the GL-XE3000 CPU Temperature is constantly at around 70°C (158°F)? I mean, it's summer currently and the location in which the router is has around 26°C (~79°F) room temperature...
Thanks

I have the Spitz (same hardware minus the battery) and my CPU temperature stays in the 60s pretty much all the time, but I have it in a significantly cooler environment than you. 70C is definitely "normal" IMO, especially given that the lowest temperature you can configure the fan to kick on is 70C. I think the default is 75C before the fan kicks on, so GL.iNet are clearly not worried about temperatures in that range.
Thanks @pie for the explanation. Makes sense to me. Just wanted to make sure
