v2.226 was modified sooner than v2.272; is then 2.272 is newer or older?

2.272 is newer, but i recommend you use the latest testing firmware, v3 based. The old firmwares are not longer supported and a lot of bugs and vulnerabilities have been fixed since then.

Yes GL has called it testing, but it actually has less bugs than the old firmwares. Don’t worry about the testing name.
