Hi,
I bought 2 Gli.Inet GL-AXT1800 routers to setup a client-server Wireguard VPN setup. I am having issues setting up and connecting to the Wireguard Server. The logs from the server are the following.
“Sun Apr 2 22:35:57 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Interface ‘wgserver’ is setting up now\nSun Apr 2 22:35:57 2023 kern.info kernel: [ 27.013075] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wgserver: link is not ready\nSun Apr 2 22:35:57 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Interface ‘wgserver’ is now up\nSun Apr 2 22:35:57 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Network device ‘wgserver’ link is up\nSun Apr 2 22:36:03 2023 user.notice firewall: Reloading firewall due to ifup of wgserver (wgserver)\nSun Apr 2 22:41:13 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Network device ‘wgserver’ link is down\nSun Apr 2 22:41:13 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Interface ‘wgserver’ is now down\nSun Apr 2 22:41:20 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Interface ‘wgserver’ is setting up now\nSun Apr 2 22:41:20 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Interface ‘wgserver’ is now up\nSun Apr 2 22:41:20 2023 daemon.notice netifd: Network device ‘wgserver’ link is up\nSun Apr 2 22:41:20 2023 kern.info kernel: [ 320.669653] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wgserver: link is not ready\nSun Apr 2 22:41:21 2023 user.notice firewall: Reloading firewall due to ifup of wgserver (wgserver)\n”
My home network is setup in the following way.
Main Router is connected to the internet. A second router is connected to the main router with LAN ports and has DHCP disabled. It is thus acting as a repeater/extender. The Gli.Inet router is connected to the second router via WiFi. The port forwarding is being done on the second router as I do not have access to the main router (Don’t think this has anything to do with the wireguard server not starting though).
If I connect to the 2nd router or the Gli.Inet router, I can access internet just fine. I installed WireGuard app from the appstore and used the QR code to connect to the Gli.Inet wireguard server and it does not connect.
Can anyone provide some help with this?
