I just wanted to ask why my XE3000 Goodcloud interface displays an IP address in my area (Germany, Bavaria), even though I route all traffic through Brazil and have the "Use Gl.inet VPN services" button activated? If GoogleCloud is already getting the IP address pretty close to my location, others can figure it out too. Then the VPN tunnel to Brazil is useless.
I access GoogleCloud via my mobile phone in the router's WLAN.
I'm just curious where this German IP address in Goodcloud comes from? When I use "Where is my IP" with any device on my Wi-Fi, it comes up as Brazil, as it should.
Could you please share with us some screenshots of your current VPN settings, so that we can further confirm?
Please note that after the VPN is enabled, it may require a refresh on Goodcloud to update the address shown.
Ah, okay, I think I've got it. I had to delete the xe3000 from Goodcloud and then add it back. Now the VPN IP address is also listed in Goodcloud. It must have crashed somewhere.
