HFS+ filesystem

Anyone had any luck getting the MT300A to read HFS+ filesystems?

In theory it should be as easy as installing the kmod-fs-hfsplus kernel module.

Installing kmod-fs-hfsplus (3.18.27-1) to root…
Downloading 404 Page not found - GL.iNet. Configuring terminfo.
Configuring kmod-fs-hfsplus.
Configuring libreadline.
Configuring libncurses.

I get the following errors though when installing:

Collected errors: * pkg_run_script: package “terminfo” postinst script returned status 255.

  • opkg_configure: terminfo.postinst returned 255. * pkg_run_script: package “kmod-fs-hfsplus” postinst script returned status 255.
  • opkg_configure: kmod-fs-hfsplus.postinst returned 255. * pkg_run_script: package “libreadline” postinst script returned status 255.
  • opkg_configure: libreadline.postinst returned 255.
  • pkg_run_script: package “libncurses” postinst script returned status 255.
  • opkg_configure: libncurses.postinst returned 255.

the 255 errors generally doesn’t matter. You can go to mount the filesystem.

But you have to mount manually because the automount script doesn’t take care of this filesystem.

I installed nano and edited the mtab (there’s no fstab), but my changes don’t seem to stick even though it seems like the file save.
