I have a Bosch Smart Home Controller on the WAN.
I would like my Mac/Phone on the LAN/WLAN of the Spitz to be able to see the Smart Home Controller and related functionality.
Pinging works fine. But the Apple software doesn't see things. I think it's related to their mDNS/Bonjour stuff.
How could I connect LAN and WAN for those?

Yes, it is.
It seems to have been fixed with installing the avahi daemon and allowing the mdns port on the Spitz.
What would the Masquerading have changed?
AP Spitz wouldn't work afaict as I need the 5G Modem Backup for my 'work' network which is behind the Spitz.
Is it required to config the avahi daemon for the interface WAN?
Seems it is the mDNS issue, not Masquerading.
