Anyone know if it's possible to block VPN clients on your network?
I've got AdGuard set up to block social media apps but the kids just connect to a VPN and bypass the whole thing. Ideally I'd want to be able to block it on the fly rather than having a permanent rule in place.
Is this even doable? Any suggestions welcome.

In v4.9, we introduced a DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) feature.
Under Admin Panel → Flow Control → Content Filter, you can find filtering options for several common VPN services:
However, please note that if your children are using VPN services that are not on the list, or are using self-hosted/custom VPNs, there may not be a reliable way to block them at the router level.
In such cases, it may be more effective to use the parental controls or application management features built into the PC or mobile operating system to restrict the installation and use of VPN applications.
Just found the DPI, thanks! Will investigate with different configurations and see what works.
