how to power a SpitzGL-X3000 in a Camper Van

I have a SpitzGL-X3000 and I need to install it in a van. The Power Source ist a LiFePO4 Battery. When the battery is charged to its maximum, the voltage can reach 14.6V.
I guess this does not cause problems, because the power socket on the router says 12V/24V, is this correct? Furthermore, I need to know if the positive lead is the inner conductor of the connector.

Best Regards
Matthias

Yes.

Yes.

You should use Orion-Tr DC/DC converter between you're battery and your router

It's better for the hardware and you can switch it more easily.

What leads you to this conclusion? The input is specified to be 12-24V, so the regulator inside the device must be able to cope with this without a problem.

Must be able to cope with this without a problem over > 12V.
But voltages under 12V are not much of a problem for a LiFePO4-batteries - so you're right.
It's more an issue with AGM-type of batteries where the voltage is under 12V when the capacity is under 50 %.
