How to remotely log in the router, when VPN killswitch is on, and VPN is down?

I have a Gl.inet router in a different physical location, with VPN and killswitch on. Sometimes the VPN stops working, and I need to travel there, manually log in the router, and reconnect or change VPN server. Because Gl.inet routers do not auto-reconnect to VPNs, when VPN fails.
Is there a way for me to REMOTELY log in to that Gl.inet router, when it has VPN with killswitch on, and when the VPN is down, to reconnect the VPN? Can an exception be made for the router, so that it will listen for remote connections without VPN, when the VPN is not working?

Just disable the kill switch then. It's not necessary to use it anyway because the VPN itself has an integrated kill switch already.

It's more for the paranoid people. And they need to decide if they want additional security or comfort.

The VPN only has an integrated kill switch if the device in question is capable of installing and using the VPN App or Software. My device cannot, it is an IoT device... and yes I want it to be hidden behind a VPN at all times. Router level VPN killswitch is required.

No.

The router itself has already a VPN killswitch. If VPN connection fails (but not if you disable it!) will prevent leaks.

That comes back to my question, if I turn on the VPN killswitch like you said, and the VPN server stops working as they always do from time to time, how can I remotely connect to the router via the internet, to make it reconnect the VPN or change to a working VPN?

It should be still connected to GoodCloud then.
