I think my router is broken

Hello,

I have an AXT1800, which I had for about 2 years <-- this is the one that I think is broken.

For comparison, I also have an A1300, which I had for about 4 months <-- this one is far more reliable.

The AXT1800 recently I cannot connect to an OVPN VPN successfully. Nor can I SSH into it through Putty and successfully download the package from AstroRelay.

The A1300 can do both.

What are my options here for troubleshooting the AXT1800? I need both routers (1 for a server) but it seems like the AXT1800 is just an expensive paperweight now, unless I can do something to fix it.

Have you reset the firmware back to factory and started over? It's a pain but often the best way to resolve complex issues where behaviour isn't correct.

Reset router and reflesh firmware via UBoot.
