As already mentioned: GL is developing and so are the support processes. You just have to be a little patient.

How long do they need? Do they really need more than 4 years to fix this problem?

Hi Eric, Yes, releasing a firmware is quite a pain. We will speed up releasing beta firmware, better the same firmware version.
