I've spent a lot of time using this bonding technology on Peplink routers, and I'm happy to help beta test and provide feedback. Allowing us to build our own cloud-based bonding servers would be the key to making this truly successful. You don’t want to set up regional data centers everywhere as bonding targets; let the users handle that.
To do bonding effectively, your cloud-based endpoint server needs to be as geographically close to you as possible to minimize latency. For instance, if you’re in Los Angeles and your cloud bonding server is in New York, you’ll experience a significant amount of unwanted latency.
