@alzhao I have a question about MT300-V2:
Since a while I use a mini router AR150 which is connected by cable to the internet at 100Mbit/sec and I can get (without vpn or any encryption) a maximum WiFi speed of 50Mbit/sec with radio mode 11n(150M)
Will it be an improvement in WiFi speed if I switch to a new MT300N-V2 using radio mode 11n(300M) ?

Tested using iphone, MT300N-V2 should have a much better wifi performance than AR150.

V2 has bugs. I’m returning it as the non V2 I just got doesn’t have these issues:

-not autoconnecting to another AP when the current one goes away

in advanced-wireless, Luci works fine, I can see the connection and edit settings
summary screen and setup screen shows connection being made. The -V2 would just sit there, I had to go back and forth between menus to get the WAN connection info.

I have a GL-MIFI that I just updated to 2.261. Now the devices does not turn off when pressing the power button, even if I hold it down for an extended period of time.

Upload speed with MT300N-V2 is very low with firmware built from your LEDE source. I see similar results with mainstream LEDE too. However with your stock firmware, both upload and download speeds are good. If it is something known issue, can you please share the patches to resolve this?

Upload speed is good when I use my mobile. I see this issue only when I use my laptop as the client running Fedora with Chipset : Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter

For MT300N v2 we used MTK WiFi driver. The open source drive doesn’t work good and stable.
