Ip config error when using second flint as access point

Hi all,

Just installed a Flint 2 as my main router, and a Flint 1 as access point. Name of Wifi on both routers the same, as was advised here.

Now when my phone ‘hops’ from Flint 2 to Flint 1 I get a “IP config error” on my smartphone.

When i change the wifi-SSID of the second router into a different name, it works flawlessly.

What am i doing wrong?

Is dhcp and firewall on flint 1 turned off?

Good thought. But in Access Point mode those are off by default, i presume, because I can't turn them on or off.

This may be related to an issue we encountered previously.

We have sent you a debug firmware via private message. Could you please try flashing it on AX1800 through U-Boot and check whether it resolves the issue?

Is it firmware for the Flint 1?

Because that s the one causing the issues

Yes, the firmware is for the Flint 1.

After installing the firmware, please let us know whether the issue persists. If it does, please export the logs and send them to us through our previous private conversation so that we can investigate further.
