Hi, I would like to know if it was possible to add one, or rather two, antennas to the GL-MT300N-V2 and what kind of cable I should use to connect the antenna to the board. Thank you.

For a much work as it would be to modify this unit, you may just want to look at the AR300M16-EXT, that has 2 external antennas.

Hi guys, I’m looking for a relatively cheap way to connect to the free public wifi and then create a new private network for my apartment. The signal is very very weak so I thought I could get the Shadow AR300M-Ext and put a larger(?) external antenna to be able to get a stronger signal. A dual band router might work better to increase bandwidth? And a directional antenna is better for my situation? Any recommendations? Thanks

Yes, I had thought about it. But I saw that the card should already be prepared. And so I thought I’d just buy the antennas to add. Thank you anyway.
