Is it scheduled to add an IoT-spcific-metwork on new mt600 release firmware .?

last four year i was successively adquiring some of glinet router which started with my lovely mango travel router

i have ruling the house a mt6000 which is great in every aspect it has flr now performing. it’s running 4.8.3op24 firmware

i am running the IOT network on a sf1200 glinet router , connected to the mt600 guess network, so i use sf1200 as my particular “wall”

i am not good at command line settings via uci because my ADHD brain normally messes the things up

that's why i prefer to use GLINET interface and i was wondering if you could, please, tell me if there is some scheduling for adding to the glinet interface a specific IoT network well isolated

thanks lot , btw, because thanks to the forum i learned lot

Hi,

Unfortunately, at the moment, adding an additional IoT network essentially requires using LuCI/UCI, and it is not supported through the GL UI.

We are indeed planning a new feature that would allow IoT networks to be added via the GL UI, but it is currently still in the feasibility evaluation stage. There is no estimated release time yet, and it may be introduced in version v4.9 or later.
