I am able to access my cloud device through the MacOS app, however through glkvm.com I am getting the error message “KVM device not connect to remote server.”
Is there some router setting I’m missing? Weird that one lets me access while the other does not…
We have analyzed your log, could you please check if your router enable auto ipv6 transition.
Please disable it and see if the problem solved, our cloud service currently don't soppurt ipv6 service.
The APP and glkvm.com runs a different remote accessing methods. So the app can work while cloud service cannot.
I have reported your issue with our engineer, they will investigate on it.
I think robot was said that ipv6 is work when remote accessing in APP.
With the new 1.3.0 realease1 of the GLKVM app on Mac I am getting the same error… You’ve managed to ruin the one and only way for me to remotely access my computer, which would be the point of GLKVM.
I am running latest firmware.
Please update the release ASAP.
Of coruse I can roll back the version temporarily, but does it mean Mac users are now stuck on an old version of your app forever?
This problem is not related to Mac. As I mentioned before, the former APP version use wireguard to establish remote access but not cloud service. The reason way you cannot remote access via glkvm.com is that your router enable auto ipv6 transition and our cloud service not support IPv6.
In 1.3 APP upgrade, we replace the wireguard methods with cloud service because many users have problem with wireguard. Also, access via cloud service has a better performance.
The temperary solution is that please downgrade to former version to use ordisable the auto ipv6 transition.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused anyway.
In addition, Our develop team are dedicating to support IPv6 in cloud service. Once have progress, I will inform you ASAP. Thanks for your understanding.
You are not the only one.
So far I restarted the Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) remotely (via shelly power switch)
Cloud and app have problems connecting ATM.
I wonder if it works via tailscale. Still need to setup that part.
