Latency with Comet

Hello!

I recently purchased the Comet GL-RM1 for a secondary PC I have next to my primary one. The hope was to share the monitor and peripherals to save desk space.

While the GL-RM1 does this I find the response time between click/actions and display being several seconds behind.

My question is can I create a local network of some kind for the GL-RM1 to go through instead of my internet? I use Starlink (no other high speed ISP in area) and I believe this to be a contributing factor.

Is this possible with only one network port on each PC and both PC’s connected to my switch?

Again, if you are accessing within the local network, it is currently not recommended to use the APP.Access directly using the local IP from browser
