Hi,
On my MT3000, some reason, whenever I try to block a device in the Clients list, they don’t fully disconnect from the Wi-Fi network.

However, after disconnecting from the network and reconnecting only gives the device an APIPA address, but the interface still connects the device to the network instead of rejecting the connection.
Does the MT3000 fully support blocking devices?

Hi,
Since our allowlist/blocklist feature needs to apply to wired devices as well, it is implemented through a kernel module, rather than only by controlling the Wi-Fi MAC filter list.
After configuring Block, although the device can still maintain a Layer 2 connection, its INPUT and FORWARD traffic will actually be blocked, so we believe there is not much difference compared with completely blocking the device.
If you still prefer to use the Wi-Fi MAC filter list, you may need to consider using the OP24/25 version. Then you can add it in LuCI > Network > Wireless:
