Make Password field identifiable by Password Manager?

Hello,
I am new here - hi :victory_hand:

Got myself a X3000 - working remote, so using it for mobile service and wlan repeating etc.

Especially with the new 4.8 Version (using the snapshot from the 10th of august) the easy password check box got removed, and I was wondering if it is possible to make sure, especially on mobile phones, that the password field gets identified by Password Managers like Bitwarden? At the moment, Bitwarden can't fill in the password by itself, I have to copy it and paste it in the password field.

Thanks in advance ..

Best Regards

Hi,

The weak passwords are not allowed anymore in GL GUI login.

The password text box should not any changes.

You can try other password manager apps (or browser plug-in) for a comparison test.

Thanks for your answer. I was playing a little with the login process and my password entry in Bitwarden and realized that for what ever reason, Bitwarden did not like it, that I just had a password set for the page, after providing a username in my Bitwarden entry as well, autotype works without any issues ..

Maybe it helps someone ..

Oh yea I’ve seen this behavior before in Bitwarden. It’s not specific to GL-iNet. Thus, I always put at least an “n/a” placeholder in the username field.
