Yea, I agree with everything you said.
Now that I've had time to digest all of the new information, I might be interested in buying if the price is right. The specs do suck, but if it's super low power and gives me more battery life with a power bank, why not? I could see this being very useful on a cruise. I think people take these travel router’s speed a little too seriously. In a hotel, where WoFi performance likely suck because of their ISP and the size of the room, I'm not concerned about range. As long as the Mango 2 is responsive and works well with online DNS services like NextDNS, this could be a hit. Would I love more RAM? Sure, but if there is a workaround and the price is right, it might not be a bad tradeoff.
This is my point as well. 128mb was standard 10 years ago. 256 or 512 is standard now.
It will support almost NO features other than VPN and Wi-Fi repeater.
NO OTHER FEATURES.
Don't believe me, look at the page, it has no features mentioned. This device is only worth it at $30 to replace the current Mango.
