Mango MT300N-V2 PHY Interface to MK7628

The Mango MT300N-V2 Mini Smart Router doesn’t appear to have an Ethernet transformer on the PCB.

The “PHY” pins of the MK7628 cannot be connected directly to an RJ45 jack and then cable. The signals need to pass through an Ethernet transformer first (magnetic).

The present RJ45 jacks don’t seem to have “internal magnetics”, just low-cost plastic RJ45 jacks.

So how are the PHY signals being processed on the PCB?

“internal magnetics” is encapsulated in the RJ45.
