I have my Marble set up with it's private network that can have the toggle on or off for vpn, guest ssid which is enforced for vpn (wan is unticked from guest zone) and I ticked the box to turn wan interface into a bridged and added a new SSID of my existing home router's main LAN into it so that SSID acts as a transparent extender and devices that connect to it end up naturally on the existing home LAN.
I want to replace it with my new Beryl AX. It is updated but I have the initial part of mysetup done, but now that I want to add the new SSID and bridge it to WAN, I cannot find the tick box anywhere to turn wan into a bridge so that I can then bridge the new SSID (2.4 and 5ghz) into it to make it transparently put people on the main ethernet lan attached to the Beryl AX WAN port? It works perfectly on the gl.inet Marble.
Marble has not the VPN speed I hoped for. And normal extender mode is not enough. My needs are more nuanced. I leave it in normal router mode so it has it's own private and guest SSIDs but then I want another SSID for 2.4 and 5ghz that is a pass-through to my primary home LAN which is connected to the WAN. This was easy to do with the Marble, just convert the wan to being a bridge and add the new SSID into that. But not only do new SSIDs not even function at all but I cannot convert wan to a bridge with this Beryl AX. This Beryl AX costs a lot more than a Marble and yet I cannot seemingly do what I did before. I am probably just in need of a new set of instructions for the Beryl AX to achieve my goal.
