Is it possible to make a VPN (openVPN) using just two MT300N devices?

The idea is to protect a VCR recorder but to access it on the Internet without investing a lot of money.

I think this is doable. But I have no experience of setting up a openvpn server on the router easily.

I know its been about a month since this post but you can pick up a raspberry pi and install pivpn really easily to setup a vpn. $35 for the raspberry pi, $5 for the microsd card. I use mine while out as well on my AR 150 router and it works.
