Hopefully, GL.iNet will one day make a fully OpenWRT compatible router and I guess that means a Mediatek chipset! Anyways, if I am using MLO and my understanding is that it's part of the WiFi 7 specs. Does that mean a WiFi 6 product like the Flint 2 won't be able to connect to the WiFi 7 MLO network and act as a repeater? Does that mean I'll need to have an MLO-based network and a non-MLO network?

Yep, repeater does not support to connect the MLO WiFi (AP) at present.
Can this be fixed by software or will I need the hardware too?
