Would’ve gone the AX but the needed the Beryl form factor or smaller, so had to stick to the plus.

Is AX really that much bigger than Beryl? I haven’t quite noticed much diffeerence, maybe few millimeters here and there.

Yeah. The beryl only just fit in my tech kit bag, so the ax at like 7mm longer won’t fit. I don’t need the power anyway for travel.

I’m thinking about upgrading my Beryl to the newer version … have you looked at that? It’s smaller and seems to be a more powerful processor. Not sure about the issues you had, but when I first got my Beryl - I had issues, but after returning for a replacement, it’s been solid. Also really depends on the power supply, according to GL-Inet.

I prefer to change SoC to a Qualcomm product. They’ve always been stable for me. Mediatek, not so much.

Edit: The solution to the below problem for me was to hold the factory reset button on the router for 15 seconds or so.

I upgraded using the file openwrt-mt1300-4.1.0-1107-1667792228.bin and can no longer login to the admin panel located at http://192.168.8.1/#/login using the default password of “goodlife”.

I just installed the 4.3.2 beta 1. The first thing i noticed is that the network storage under Applications is missing completely. Is it possible to install it via plugins?

You can see at the free storage space…
Beryl has only 32 MB total. We don’t want to remove the network storage either, but the device is really not free of space.

If I understand it correctly now, in future releases the Beryl wont be able to utilize its own sd card or is it just temporary? Otherwise the sd card slot will be useless and users as I do use the slot.

Thank you, I am familiar with the download section. However I did installed the latest beta and rolled back to 4.1.0 b3 because its supports network storage. If 4.2.2 had the same function I would like this version but dont know where to find it

Both the latest firmware from both devices have had file sharing removed could you link me firmware 4x with file sharing in it. thanks
