MT6000 / Flint 2 + VoIP Router Issue after FW up+downgrade

Hi there. I was using my Cisco SPA-3102 for a few months already without issue, together with my Flint 2 router.

As the FW upgrade to 4.8.4 brought some WIFI-connection issues round our house, I downgraded the Flint2 to: 4.8.3.-op24, Type: beta1. WIFI is back to normal, but VoIP via Vodafone SIP stopped working.

All cables checked, reboot and power off/on of VoIP and Flint 2, configurations of VoIP-Router and Flint2 (DMZ + port-forwarding) unchanged.

Any ideas what else could be the problem? I think it must be the new FW, but cannot figure out, what to look for.

Many thanks for your help.

Did you perform a clean flash without preserving settings? Can try a clean install if haven’t done before.

Thx for your comment. Quite a lot of devices with different settings in the network though. I’ll try further downgrading the FW to 4.8.2.

So I downgraded to 4.8.2, keeping all settings.

Still got “Failed” status at registration states for Line 1 and PSTN Line.

What I realized then was, that somehow the Line Enable status was reset from “yes” to “no”, so I changed that back. Absolutely don’t know, why that error occurred in the first place.

Status still didn’t change though.

So I set the SAS Enable to yes and the status did finally change back to “registered” for Line1 and PSTN Line.

Calls were however not yet possible with the SAS status at “yes”.

Changing it back to “no” fixed also that problem.

I tried upgrading the router to FW 4.8.3, had the issue once more and could fix it once more with setting the SAS Enable to “yes” and after getting the “registered" status, back to “no”.
