If you don't want a feature because it doesn't work for your particular setup, or are willing to work around issues e.g by using tailscale, then I don't think this “feature request” thread is for you.

But unfortunately you would be in double NAT even in modem-only due to CGNAT used by mobile carriers. I say it again that this feature request is unnecessary and that there are many other features with a higher priority.
… to you. For example, I couldn’t care less about AdGuard nor Tailscale but I recognize those are important to others, so instead of downplaying their concerns I simply keep my gob shut
@Cathy Please get your Product Manager to sign this off as a feature as soon as possible. I have the exact same issue with my unifi set up at home and this feature would be perfect.

+1 for this feature request. Still though, wouldn’t assigning a static IP to Unifi UCG and putting it in DMZ achieve a very similar result?

I came here for help with this exact issue - how to pass 5G data from the Mudi7 to my home router and avoid double NAT issues. The only advice I could find online was to put it into Access Point mode when connecting via Ethernet to my home router’s WAN port, but this seems to be not a solution at all beca7that does not put the Mudi7 into bridge mode (5G cellular modem mode).
Would I be correct in understanding from the posts on this thread that there is currently no way to do this, but that the dev team have been informed of this issue and a patch would be coming sometime soon? Is there any current workaround I am not aware of?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated

It would also be great if the battery charging could be interrupted at user-defined levels.
Yes, you can remove the battery for failover mode, but it would be better if you didn't have to. The lid will thank you...

Yes, to my understanding, there is no way to get by the double NAT issue til passthrough mode is enabled for our device.

Thank you so much for the confirmation. I guess it’s just a waiting game. This functionality in my view is essential to making the Mudi7 an all-round portable 5G modem and router. Hope it happens soon.

No, unfortunately not yet. I’m also waiting for this feature.
