Mudi 7 cell tower locking question/bug

I am working on making a custom UI for the Mudi 7. I specifically want to use the Mudi to display all cell towers in the area. To achieve this I want to be able to use AT+QNWLOCK to lock to every tower in the area but I am having trouble locking to any AT&T tower on band 5 (and by extension n8,n26,etc) I can lock to any other tower just fine but the moment I attempt a lock onto a AT&T tower i get “+CME ERROR: 902” which is odd because as far as I can tell that is an audio error according to Quectel docs. Are others having this same issue with the Mudi 7 too? I already did a QNWPREF=”restore_band” verified n5 is in my nr5g_band list. The AT&T tower in question is not barred and is Standalone as far as I can tell. (I don’t have an AT&T sim to verify 100% but I am 95% sure from its MIB+SIB1 configuration).

Also GL-iNet people any chance I can get the AT command guides for the RG650

I forgot about AT+CMEE=2. I got more descriptive error message of “Band not support”. I got the US Mudi 7 with no sim in it right now. I can lock to one tower in my area but not band 5 nor 26. I unfortunately do not have anything other than one n71 tower (which works) and two n5/n26 towers (which do not lock) in my area to test more. I put a t-mo sim into the Mudi 7 once for testing and I think it may have set something I cannot see as the n71 tower just so happens to be a t-mo tower.

:face_with_spiral_eyes: After exploring the whole rabbit hole. The RG650 selected an MBN profile for the carrier. Should have checked there earlier. If anyone has a similar problem check your MBN profiles! You are probably stuck on the last one that matched your sim card. Setting it to ROW_Commercial lets me lock onto anything so I think that one is the Generic profile.
