Mudi 7 E-SIM install issue

Hi guys hope everyone is well. Just received my brand new Mudi 7 today and on attempt to install a brand new e-sim, I get the following message:

  • Device start connect internet

  • Internet connect success

  • Device start download profile

  • Download profile: 40%

  • Download profile fail: maybe this profile has been downloaded repeatedly by other devices or the current device, please check it or use other esim profile to test, if you confirm this is first time download, you can copy this logs to contact GL.iNet support get help.

  • Err message: Init auth fail. | exit status 6

I purchased another completely brand new e-sim, have tried adding it and getting the same message. I have also tried adding it with the QR code and the activation code, neither method works. Was wondering if someone can help me with this, thanks.

I have also just tried again with a new e-SIM from a completely different vendor, one from the post of list of compatible e-sims made by gl net and still run into the same issue.

I am connected to internet when I have been doing this.

Hello

May I know which esim do you use? Kindly please:

  1. Try connecting the router to another network source, such repeater internet or mobile phone hotspot
  2. Go to the admin panel ->NETWORK ->DNS, change DNS server to Google DNS (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1)

Connecting to another network source fixed it.
