Mudi 7 - Free Mobile eSIM error

I’ve just received and updated with latest firmware the Mudi 7 using ethernet. Then tried with this connectivity to add my Free France eSIM. It fails each time at 30% download. Frustrating ! Any solution ?

eSIM Log.txt (71.4 KB)

The eSIM is now “Downloaded” but cannot be installed so I cannot even reuse the eSIM on another device… the provider (Free) cannot unlock manually the eSIM. Any command line to recover as It is not even showing in the UI.
Device start connect internet

  • Internet connect success

  • Device start download profile

  • Download profile: 30%

  • Download profile fail: maybe this profile has been downloaded repeatedly by other devices or the current device, please check it or use other esim profile to test, if you confirm this is first time download, you can copy this logs to contact GL.iNet support get help.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

We have already asked our development team to investigate the logs, and we’ll let you know once there are any updates.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

Hi,

After checking the logs, we currently suspect that the device may be unable to connect to the server responsible for delivering the eSIM profile.

Could you please help confirm the following:

  1. Was the Mudi 7 connected to the internet when downloading the eSIM profile?

  2. If so, would you be able to provide a working eSIM profile for us to investigate further?

  3. If possible, please follow the guide below and share your device with us via GoodCloud so we can check it remotely:

Technical Support via GoodCloud - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Please also send us the MAC address and the router password via private message so that we can access the device.

Solved with physical SIM and no more issue.
