Hi.
I’m trying to set up Surfshark VPN on MUDI 7 with Vodafone and EE UK network and I’m getting conflicts rmnet_data0 and rmnet_data1.
Regards.
rmnet_data0 and rmnet_data1 are cellular modem interfaces, so please do not delete or rename them.
First disconnect Surfshark and verify that internet access works on Vodafone and EE separately. If both work without the VPN, please share the MUDI 7 firmware version, whether you imported a Surfshark OpenVPN or WireGuard configuration, and the exact conflict message or a screenshot with sensitive information redacted. This will show whether the failure is in the cellular connection, VPN configuration, or routing policy.

If the error shown is “get third-party provider token fail” or “Network may be abnormal,” the router is failing to obtain the Surfshark configuration rather than conflicting with rmnet_data0/1.
8.8.8.8, and apply the change. If none of these works, please provide the MUDI 7 firmware version and type out the exact error shown in the screenshot. Do not post your Surfshark credentials.

Router software version is newest available - v4.0
Same thing with mobile connection over my phone - both networks.
Error:
Tunnel 1 IP Address (10.14.0.2/8) conflicts with the rmnet_data0.
Problem has been solved by downgrading software to first available version. All connecting as it should.
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
This is a known issue, and we have already forwarded the reports to the relevant team for further investigation.
As a temporary workaround, you can try changing the subnet prefix in your Surfshark WireGuard configuration from /8 to /16.
