Mudi router metrics/ping home?

Technical question here.

How anonymous is the v2 Mudi router? Does it ping home after boot or do any of these:

• ping home (example: http request) to gl-inet.com?

• collect metrics or usage statistics?

• automatic updates before Tor is loaded?

• connect to any other repo or site which can be used to identify the connection used is a Mudi / OpenWRT?

• connect to specific hardcoded NTP-servers, or DNS servers?

• any other specific TCP/IP traffic that is always recurring?

Can the team at GL help to reduce fingerprinting if any of these occur in the current firmwares?

No. Interface status track ping public DNS IP, but you can disable.

No. Only connects to GL feeds to get updates when you manually click to refresh the repo.

NTP server can customize config. DNS server default obtain from WAN interface.

You should consider using the VPN.
