Mudi running wireguard AND simultaneous tor

Is it possible to start a wireguard tunnel and then run tor inside that wireguard tunnel?

Basically just turn on wireguard and then turn on tor.

I see several threads alluding to such a setup but there is nothing recent or definitive.

I assume they cannot run at same time, Tor and VPN client will conflict each other.
