Hello, I have a GL.iNet GL-X300B (NOR) with firmware 4.0 0522release1. I have the following problem:

When I enable WireGuard, I can successfully access the router and devices through my network over mobile Date. But when I enable Multi-WAN and set Ethernet to priority 1, the connection breaks and I cannot access the network anymore. As soon as I switch back to mobile data, access through WireGuard works again.

What could be the reason? What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

This issue doesn't seem to have anything to do with Multi-WAN.
It may be the Ethernet (WAN) Internet exception, or it blocks WireGuard traffic.

  1. When Ethernet is priority 1, WireGuard Client is disable, is it normal for ordinary Internet access?

  2. When Ethernet is priority 1, WireGuard Client enable, and share the VPN log here.

Hey Bruce,

  1. Yes, when Ethernet is set to priority 1, the internet works locally. Even with WireGuard VPN active, the internet still works locally. The problem is that I cannot access the network from an external server/computer through the VPN tunnel. It only works when mobile data is set to priority 1.

  2. You can find all settings and the VPN log in the attachment.

May be try something like this:

Hay, I don’t have this function in my firmware.

Oh sorry. Just noticed that you are running on one of the older devices. May be something similar in the old VPN policy settings?

I have auto-detect enabled. Should I turn it off and use manual routing instead?

Sorry, I want to clarify again:

I would like to know if it is from the VPN server or from another VPN client, can they not access this router through a WG tunnel? Only works when the cellular is at priority 1, is it?

The screenshots look fine, but the VPN logs are not found.

According to your needs, the VPN policy should use "Auto detect".
