I run a VPN on my Glinet router all the time with killswitch on. Sometimes the VPN server I connect to stops working, and the Glinet VPN software is not smart enough to disconnect the malfunctioning VPN server and reconnect to a different VPN server. I am trying to find a way to make the Glinet router reconnect to a different VPN server when this happens.
Is it possible to set up MultiWan failsafe, which changes the WAN to a second internet connection, and forces the VPN to reconnect? Can MultiWan be used somehow to automatically recover from a malfunctioning VPN, without my intervention?
This is also somenthing, I am looking for: Automatic re-connect to a different VPN server once the current one is down.
