MV1000 USB power ON/OFF

Hi!

Is it possible to control usb on/off power on MV1000 router ?

Since USB fan is even not a registered device, I guess I need something to put totally down usb port

My idea is to put usb fan and than through bash script+ls-sensors+cron to make it working when needed.

root@GL-MV1000:~# lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub

Also passing by a usb hub

root@GL-MV1000:~# lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 05e3:0608 Genesys Logic, Inc. Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub

Logically in this case I can disable Genesys Logic, Inc. but something stops me from doing that :frowning:

There is no way to control USB on/off.
