Need root password for lede (brand new AR750)

as per the title, I’ve just taken delivery of a shiny new AR750.

I need to login to lede but the default password of “password” doesn;t appear to work and I cannot find this info in the included booklet.

Please help

If you use for the first time, there is no password. You can refer to this doc

If it asks for password to login directly. It means someone used it.

You have to reset it by holding down the reset button for 10 seconds and wait for the router reboot.

It was due to my stupidity. The root password was exactly what I set as the webmin login password.

I need more coffee. Thanks for your reply anyway
