Need support with setting up the Wireguard Client on AXT1800

I am trying to set-up my router GL-AXT1800 as Wireguard client and facing Issue. Can anyone please help me in setting up the travel router. My Wiregurard server is setup behind the Optimum router and portforwarding is done on Opal router which is setup as wireguard server.

The port forwarding must be done on the Optimum router, not the Opal. Please read How to troubleshoot WireGuard as well and make sure you changed the network IP of one of the routers.

Hi - I did port forwarding on my optimum router. I used Opal behind the Optimum router and Used DDNS of Opal as IP in Optimum and Port 51820. I will lookinto documentation again and see if I missed any information.

Hi, have you been able to get it to work? I am having the same error.

My Setup:

Beryl Ax3000 = the VPN wont connect. With the same error as yours
Using AX1800 as the vpn server.
My ISP provided me a static IP, so i did a port forwarding on the router, assigning a port to the IP of the Flint Server.

I also tried 'nc -zv my ip and the assigned port" but got Connection refused.

Make sure both routers use individual networks. Only one is allowed to use 192.168.8.1

No, you misunderstood me. The routers IP must be different. Per default all GL routers will use 192.168.8.x. Change it on one side to 192.168.10.x

NO Luck. I tried it with totally new connection also. still its struck on Wireguard client is starting.

Yes. I have changed the IP address for both routers One is 192.168.11.1 and another is 192.168.10.1

So i reset mine and then used a different Internet provider and it worked perfectly. So not sure if it was the firmware, my Isp or my settings.. but its working now.

It worked now for mine. I have to completely reset the routers and use different IP address for each router.
