The GL-iNet UI sets up a default share for name GL-Samba and directory /mnt. The LuCi UI sees this also, but LuCI is more powerful and allows multiple shares and mount points with your own names and directories.
You can confirm that the USB drive is mounted before you can share it, either in LuCI → System → Mount Points (above post) or in SSH (should show lines for USB drive):

Regarding, removing kmod-fs-ntfs, only do that if both the kmod-fs-ntfs and ntfs-3g packages are installed because they have a conflict.
