New firmware version 4.7 being released for beta testing

but the 4.7.0-op24 gives me 'only' 430 Mbps, vs. 734 Mbps (4.7.0 Stable) on Speedtest.net download. So I went back to the 'half functional' 4.7.0 stable, and hope someone can help me trying to get the GL GUI back

Hello
I update from 4.6.8 op21 to the latest 4.7.0-op21 stable yesterday, without wiping settings.
All seems to be working fine.
The only thing I had to fixed, is the Argon Theme I had to reinstall otherwise I get those errors:

After I reinstall the ipk for the argon theme, no more errors

I have just updated to the main line 4.7.0 firmware on my MT6000 and all appears to be working apart from an issue with the wifi.

So I have 5G guest mode as my only wifi connection.

I noticed that when the SSID is hidden and I connect my primary phone (OnePlus 10pro) that it will work but when I connect another device (old phone) and if I disconnect my primary phone, I then can't see my SSID.

I then have to reboot the router or change the SSID to non hidden to get my primary phone to connect to the 5G guest wifi again.

Though, my old phone can still connect fine to the wifi. Hidden or not hidden.

Happy to PM logs upon request.

Edit: Also, one other bug is that the time zone keeps defaulting to "Atlantic/Reykjavik".

Just reporting in that my Brume 2 refuses to upgrade to 4.7.0

Tried app update
Tried web update
Tried local update

Anyone got any ideas as this is ridiculous.

If GL wants access it's on Goodcloud

You will need to share much more detail than this.
Without knowing the error message, log, screenshot, will be impossible to understand the issue

No error messages just this permanently

Click on "Install now" and wait. It will take a while to install.
The 2nd option is accessing via browser and updating it via Admin Panel

Neither works
Not does local update

Just reboots the mt2500 back to 4.6.8

This issue sound incredible strange, hopefully they find a solution, maybe you can try to read the console output via uart/serial? (Opening might void warrenty i guess).

Can't install Openwrt either.
Just rebooted straight to 4.6.8

Does it do that also via luci sys upgrade?

Yes via Luci or ssh shell, both fail and I get rebooted to 4.6.8.

Something's broken here.

Message in ssh is cannot parse fw_env.config

fw_env.config is used by uboot settings, fw_printenv shows nothing, uboot-envtools are installed by default by GL in stock firmware

  1. Did you try update it on the uboot mode?
  2. try swapping other power supply?
  3. If above does not work, please contact my colleagues support@gl-inet.com to further check with us.

Can you DM me the link to this ad testing site?

Edit, nvm, I found it. With AGH running on the x2000, I get 96%

I saw the 4.7 popup and just upgraded my Flint 2 (from previous version). However it seems the router is going through a reboot loop. Removed power supply and connected and same issue

yeah looks like it is bricked... I'll try to uboot
