I bought a brand new Mango V2 from the Amazon store. I have tried to set it up via lan cable and also entirely via wifi and this issue still happens. I set up repeater connection to my home WIFI. I set up the mango main and guest SSID and password. I add my ProtonVPN profiles, successfully connect the VPN and enforce global VPN over the router. I connect my phone to the wifi, do a speedtest, speedtest.net recognises I am on a VPN and does a speedtest. Everything looks good. I unplug it and plug it in down stairs and it hangs. One LED light only. The mango's SSIDs are broadcasting but they will NOT allow any device to connect. I unplugged it and brought it back up stairs and plugged it in, I cannot connect via lan cable either. My only option is to UBOOT re-flash with the latest update from March and rinse and repeat. I have tried to wipe this thing out and re-do the entire process about 8 times and it always ends up not working. It just hangs, SSIDs broadcasting, impossible to connect to with proper credentials and cannot connect via LAN cable. I'm about ready to throw this thing at the wall. I have never had trouble like this with any of my gl.inet routers. What on earth could possibly be going on?
(for context my main internet router is a virgin media one and I have a gl.inet Opal as an extender to add more range. I tried locking base station to either of the two BSSID and this issue still keeps on happening.)
EDIT: I have left it for an hour and now both lights have come on and it is working once again. I do not understand what could be happening.
