No connectivity with Beryl AX router when Wireguard VPN client is active

I have a Brume 2 device acting as a Wireguard VPN client and I can connect successfully (and use the internet, etc) when using the Wireguard client application on my phone or windows laptop, but if I use the same configuration file to set up a Wireguard client on the Beryl AX router, there is no connectivity when it is active. When the VPN client is disabled, it works as a router/repeater fine.

Hi

Could you please help confirm the following:

  1. The firmware versions of Brume 2 and Beryl AX
  2. Whether separate WG profiles were created for the phone/laptop/Beryl AX to avoid conflicts when used simultaneously?
  3. Please enable WG client on the Beryl AX, after it's connected then connect the Windows laptop to router and run the following commands on CMD and share the results with us:
nslookup google.com
tracert 8.8.8.8

Hi Will

Both devices had the latest (non-beta) firmware installed. The profile of the brume2 was only used by one device at a time (I had disabled the VPN client on the Beryl AX when enabling the wireguard client on the connected computer)

I had checked other community posts and saw some people had luck with downgrading the firmware. I had downgraded the Beryl’s firmware to 4.7.4 and this resolved the issue

We conducted tests using identical model and firmware versions but were unable to reproduce the issue.

May we know whether you select the option to keep settings during the upgrade?
It may be the residual configurations caused the conflict.
