No HDMI Signal Detected help please

Hi, I just bought the Comet. I searched other posts but truly do not know what exactly I am doing. I uploaded the logs though. I currently have a usb-c to hdmi adapter. I just ordered a display port to hdmi cord, so hopefully that works, but seeing if you could see something with these logs. Thank you!

According to the logs, the device did not receive any valid HDMI signal. Are you sure that the Type-C port on your computer is a full-function Type-C? Not just any Type-C port will work; it must be a full-function Type-C port, like the ones typically found on laptops, to use a Type-C to HDMI adapter.

This is the laptop I have with the ports. Thank you!

Thank you for getting back! Now that is a good question. Not sure how to test if it is full-function port. I did order these Amazon.com: Warrky 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Cable Adapter 6FT 2 Pack, [Aluminum Shell, Nylon Braided] High Speed (1440P 60Hz, 1080P 120Hz) Uni-Directional DP to HDMI Cord Compatible for Dell, HP, Insignia, Samsung : Electronics - display port to HDMI. I hope they work. Or do you suggest any other cords?

I think we included an HDMI cable. In theory, you just need a very cheap DP to HDMI adapter like this to make it work.

I have tested some DP to HDMI cables, including this very cheap adapter, and they basically all work. So just buy the cheapest one.

This is the full-featured Type-C port on my laptop. You can see it has a DP logo on it. In fact, the Type-C to HDMI adapter essentially communicates with the computer via the DP protocol. I noticed that the Type-C port on your laptop doesn’t have logos for DP, Thunderbolt, or other interfaces, so I guess it probably won’t work.

Thank you so much!

I bought 4 of these. 2 out of the 4 are working great. One I can see it but can’t click anything, even though it was working fine yesterday. The last one won’t bind. I upgraded the firmware but still cant bind even with auto, S/N, or dynamic. Any advice?

provide the S/N of the device you can’t make it bind

For the device can’t click anything, I suggest you to checkout the connection, poor contact often leads to this problem.
