With the GL-RM1 (ver. 1.4.2), I can't access the BIOS on an HP Prodesk mini G6 during POST. The keyboard and mouse icons in the bottom right are orange until the OS (proxmox) is fully loaded. The video is fine from the start.
I also disabled Virtual Media, but the GUI remains inaccessible after rebooting (hardware reset required).
I also tried DELL physics emulation, which works correctly when connected (413c:2107).
The HP BIOS is 2.23 (latest version from July 2025), and there don't appear to be any special USB settings. Do you have any further suggestions?
Thanks.
Hi, thank you for your kind reply.
I'll answer point by point:
The PC (i5 10500T) has all 3.0 ports; the GL-RM1 was connected to the rear port with a keyboard icon.
By disabling virtual media emulation (this time the KVM reboot was successful), I can only select items in the Linux grub menu (so not during the very first boot phase, where you simply press F10 to access the BIOS). When selecting the "boot menu" (another way to access the BIOS, selecting the corresponding item), the keyboard no longer responds (orange icon).
Sorry. Except for changing device identity, disabling Virtual media, switching video/KB port, we currently don't have other ways to solve this kind of problem. There might be a issue of compatibility with the controlled computer.
The 1.5.0 release1 firmware is avilible. You can please update and try.
