Odd DNS behavior

Looking for some guidance here as I know I must be missing something simple. I am trying to migrate AdGuard on a GL-X3000 to my NAS running TrueNAS Scale. I have it setup and running but the issue is when going to the gl menu and choosing manual DNS it works but all the requests come from the router IP and I would like them to either go directly to the NAS by the DHCP server specifying the NAS for DNS or be forwarded there somehow with the client ip's intact. I tried to use the luci menu to put the NAS DNS address in successfully then selected AUTO from the gl DNS menu and while the DNS server shows the requests are processed and lists the specific ip's from the clients nothing seems to get sent back to the clients.

Also of note using google or other DNS address does work through luci and the NAS DNS works when manually putting the ip in any other client device so it is working I just cant do that for every device we have.

Fixed if anyone needs the info.

Figured this out by going to luci network-interfaces br-lan edit DHCPServer advanced then at the bottom under DHCP-options add 6,x.x.x.x to send that as a DNS to the clients via DHCP.
