OPAL SFT1200 as access point with WDS?

I am using two OPALs (4.7.2 beta 3) as access points connected by wired LAN (1Gbit) to a router (AVM 5590).
Looking into LUCI I found that there are two modes of access point: access point and access point (WDS).
Is there a difference when using the OPAL as access point and which mode is recommended?
imho I don't need WDS because the OPALs are connected by LAN.

It does not need WDS, since the two Opals are wired connected to the main router (AVM), and please directly change Opal's Network Mode to Access Point.
